Each spring, we gather our Chatfield Scholars, their mentors, our donors, partners, and friends for a brunch where we hear the incredible stories and celebrate the achievements of our students. We always walk away with inspiration to continue our mission to serve first-generation and underserved students.

Meet Our Scholar: Brayden Ayers
As his high school graduation approached last spring, Brayden was certain about one thing: attending a four-year college was not the right direction for him.
“I wanted something to happen fast. I didn’t care for the extra classes college would require. I wanted to get out, start working, and start making money. But I wanted something I was passionate about.”
Brayden’s aunt has long been associated with the Ursuline’s of Brown County and The Chatfield Edge and encouraged him to reach out to find out about trade school opportunities.
