Support Our Cincinnati Gives Challenge
We are excited to participate in the Cincinnati Gives Challenge, a 10-day online campaign that brings together nonprofits, donors, volunteers, and local businesses to support our community. Since 2016 Cincinnati Gives has raised over $2.69 million for local nonprofits.
Will you help us reach our goal of raising $7,500 so together we can empower first-generation, non-traditional, and underserved students? With you, we will help even more students achieve postsecondary education success!

Scholar Spotlight: Shelby Myers
Some people just exude extreme positivity, even amid challenges and setbacks. A brief encounter with Chatfield Scholar Shelby Myers leaves most people with renewed energy for life and their challenges pulled into perspective.
We are grateful that Shelby reached out to The Chatfield Edge when she needed guidance and resources to move forward with her educational goals. It was a privilege to work with her as she pursued her STNA certification, and we are looking forward to supporting her with her next goal!

Kitty Rosenthal
Kitty Rosenthal is passionate about supporting education and fuels that passion, in part, by serving on the Advancement Commitment of The Chatfield Edge Board. She previously served as a board member for Chatfield College.
“I believe it is critically important to support life-long learning for non-traditional students, particularly first-generation students,” Kitty said. “We help set them on a path to life-long success servicing a full complement of scholars and mentors in our region.”
Property Sale
On October 31, we announced the sale of our St. Martin property to Future Plans, Inc., a non-profit focused on serving women and their children in Ohio’s Appalachian region with recovery, wellness, and workforce development services.
With its shift in operations from a college to a non-profit educational support organization, The Chatfield Edge made the strategic decision to sell the property. This allows us to concentrate on our core mission while ensuring the expansive campus, with its 11 buildings and robust technology infrastructure, can serve the community more fully.
The Chatfield Edge will continue its work on the St. Martin campus, serving as one of many organizations on the property offering essential services to students and the broader community. Read more about the property sale here.
