Scholar Spotlight: Charles Clark

Charles Clark’s story is one of resilience. The challenges of his home life growing up made him want to give up, but he didn’t.

As a teenager, Charles’ education took a back seat as he tried to navigate an unstable home wrought with addiction, divorce, and mental illness. He did what he needed to do to survive.

Learn more about how the twists and turns of Charles’ life led him to find a breath of fresh air at The Chatfield Edge.

Stress-Less and Self-Care

Do you ever feel like stress is coming at you from all sides as you try to balance your family, job, faith, social life, health, and work responsibilities? Many of our scholars experience these stressors on top of embracing their education.

On February 24 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. EST, we invite you to join The Chatfield Edge community for our Let’s Chat Webinar: “Stress-Less and Self-Care.”

Whitney Richardson, LPCC-S, CCTP, a Licensed Clinical Counselor from the University of Cincinnati, will help our community:

  • Recognize the impact of stress on your body and brain
  • Identify warning signs of stress
  • Learn stress management and self-care strategies
